چکیده

Microgrids have been identified as a step towards goals of global green energy generation they offer attractive options renewable resource inclusion in decentralized networks, thus providing incentive meeting booming demand sustainably. They are however impaired by the characteristic nature Distributed Renewable Energy Resources (DRERs). While DRERs and microgrids advantage sustainable autonomous operation with respect to traditional grid, their intermittency unconventional characteristics due deviation from power grid structures causes trepidation while opting for them. A cause concern employing daily use is peril personnel equipment during occurrence fault. To mitigate severe loss life property, it important develop design protection algorithms microgrids. there comparatively large pool knowledge on AC microgrid protection, DC challenging being focused researchers around world. The unorthodox these networks conventional be unsuitable make tasking. work this paper aims contribute efforts hybrid limited side proposed algorithm able detect identify location various types faults. verified secondary radial further compared existing performance parameters.

A power consensus algorithm for DC microgrids

A novel power consensus algorithm for DC microgrids is proposed and analyzed. DC microgrids are networks composed of DC sources, loads, and interconnecting lines. They are represented by differential-algebraic equations connected over an undirected weighted graph that models the electrical circuit. A second graph represents the communication network over which the source nodes exchange informat...

A Robust Consensus Algorithm for Current Sharing and Voltage Regulation in DC Microgrids

In this paper a novel distributed control algorithm for current sharing and voltage regulation in Direct Current (DC) microgrids is proposed. The DC microgrid is composed of several Distributed Generation units (DGus), interfaced with Buck converters, and current loads. The considered model permits an arbitrary network topology and is affected by unknown load demand and modelling uncertainties....

A consensus-based secondary control layer for stable current sharing and voltage balancing in DC microgrids

In this paper, we propose a secondary consensus-based control layer for current sharing and voltage balancing in DC microGrids (mGs). To this purpose, we assume that Distributed Generation Units (DGUs) are equipped with decentralized primary controllers guaranteeing voltage stability. This goal can be achieved using, for instance, Plug-and-Play (PnP) regulators. We analyze the behavior of the c...

Modeling, Control and Protection of Low-Voltage DC Microgrids

Current trends in electric power consumption indicate an increasing use of dc in end-user equipment, such as computers and other electronic appliances used in households and offices. With a dc power system, ac/dc conversion within these loads can be avoided, and losses reduced. AC/DC conversion is instead centralized, and by using efficient, fully controllable power-electronic interfaces, high ...

A Repetitive Control- based Approach for Power Sharing among Boost Converters in DC Microgrids

In this paper a repetitive control (RC) approach to improve current sharing between parallel-connected boost converters in DC microgrids is presented. The impact of changes in line impedance on current sharing is investigated. A repetitive controller is designed and connected in series with current controller of the boost converters to control the switching signals such that by regulating of th...
